By adopting a healthy lifestyle, including a proper diet, regular exercise, and appropriate medical care, it’s possible to delay or even prevent the onset of heart problems.

1. Stress

Stress is a major contributor to many health issues, including heart disease. In the past, daily activities like house cleaning, gardening, walking, and other household tasks naturally involved physical activity, helping to lower blood pressure, regulate blood sugar, and manage cholesterol levels.

These activities reduce strain on the heart. Today’s fast-paced life has replaced these natural physical activities with sedentary routines, increasing oxidative stress and harmful free radicals that negatively affect heart health.

Additionally, minimizing exposure to chemicals and pesticides in food is important to reduce toxin buildup in the body.

Moderate alcohol consumption is generally acceptable, but smoking, drug abuse, and excessive alcohol intake are highly detrimental to heart health.


Chemicals in tobacco damage blood vessels and lead to plaque formation, narrowing arteries, and increasing the risk of atherosclerosis and heart attacks.


Even second-hand smoke or social smoking can be harmful. Women who smoke while taking contraceptive pills are at even higher risk for heart disease.
